House Resolution 32

A RESOLUTION COMMENDING MISS BRINKLEY BOSWELL UPON BEING CROWNED MISS RODEO MISSISSIPPI 2026.

WHEREAS, Miss Brinkley Boswell, daughter of Peter and Laura Boswell, of Star, Mississippi, was crowned Miss Rodeo Mississippi 2026, a truly outstanding accomplishment; and

WHEREAS, a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in marketing and communications, Brinkley spends much of her time traveling across this great state and beyond, representing and promoting the sport of rodeo, agriculture and the western way of life; and

WHEREAS, Brinkley's platform, "Be a FAN: First to Serve, Always Kind, and Never Above Anyone," reflects her heart for service, community, and her mission to turn every rodeo spectator into a fan; and

WHEREAS, outside of the arena, Brinkley enjoys working her horses, spending time with friends and family, volunteering with her church and staying active; and

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the House of Representatives to recognize outstanding Mississippians, especially those such as Miss Brinkley Boswell, whose remarkable accomplishments bring honor to the Miss Rodeo Mississippi Foundation and to the State of Mississippi:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby recognize and commend Miss Brinkley Boswell for being crowned Miss Rodeo Mississippi 2026, and extend best wishes for continued success in all her future endeavors.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to Miss Brinkley Boswell and to the members of the Capitol Press Corps.
