Amend by striking all after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

SECTION 1. In addition to all other sums herein appropriated, the following sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State Treasury, to the credit of the State Board of Cosmetology, and allocated in a manner as determined by the Treasurer's Office, to defray the expenses of the State Board of Cosmetology for the period beginning July 1, 2023, and ending June 30, 2024.............................................. $ 57,000.00.

This additional appropriation is for the purpose of defraying agency operational expenditures.

SECTION 2. In addition to all other sums herein appropriated, the following sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State Treasury, to the credit of the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners, and allocated in a manner as determined by the Treasurer's Office, to defray the expenses of the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners for the period beginning upon passage of this act, and ending June 30, 2025................ $ 320,000.00.

This additional appropriation is for the purpose of agency operational expenditures.

SECTION 3. In addition to all other sums herein appropriated, the following sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated out of any money to the credit of the Capital Expense Fund, and allocated in a manner as determined by the Treasurer's Office, to defray the expenses of the Mississippi State Department of Health for the period beginning January 1, 2024, and ending December 31, 2024 $ 2,772,010.00.

This additional appropriation is for the purpose of defraying legal expenses associated with the City of Jackson Water litigation.

SECTION 4. In addition to all other sums herein appropriated, the following sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State Treasury, to the credit of the Wireless Communication Commission, and allocated in a manner as determined by the Treasurer's Office, to defray the expenses of the Wireless Communication Commission for the period beginning upon passage of this act, and ending

June 30, 2025.................................... $ 3,900,000.00.

This additional appropriation is for the purpose of paying costs associated with adding new statewide communication towers in needed locations pursuant to House Bill No. 603, 2023 Regular Session.

SECTION 5. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2023, and shall stand repealed from and after June 30, 2023.
