     AMEND on line 1, strike "MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 145" and insert in lieu thereof:  MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 278

     FURTHER, AMEND on line 6, strike the language in subsection (1) in its entirety, and replace in lieu thereof:

     The segment of Mississippi Highway 278/U.S. Highway 45, also known as Noah Curtis Street, located in Shannon, Lee County, Mississippi, extending for a distance of approximately one (1) mile in the westerly direction from the eastern entrance of Shannon Primary School to a point immediately west of the on-ramp interchange with U.S. Highway 45, is designated and shall be known as the "Johnny R. Patterson Memorial Highway."
