House Bill 4107

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE ANNUALLY TO THE OXFORD-LAFAYETTE COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Lafayette County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized and empowered to contribute annually to the Oxford-Lafayette County Economic Development Foundation, Inc., out of any available county funds, in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00) in each of the following fiscal years: the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024; the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025; the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026; and the fiscal year ending September 30, 2027.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
