AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO DUSTIN DARELL MILLS OF RANKIN COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Dustin Darell Mills of Rankin County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his conviction for the crime of grand larceny, in Rankin County, for which he was sentenced to serve five (5) years under the supervision of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.  He was released on probation on November 13, 2009.  On February 19, 2013, he was convicted for the crime of grand larceny, burglary-vehicle and burglary-nonresidential to serve five (5) years and one (1) day in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, the sentence to run concurrently with each other and consecutively with another conviction.

     He was released on June 25, 2013, and discharged on July 1, 2015.  The Legislature is informed that he has since conducted himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
