AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HUMPHREYS COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE CITY OF BELZONI, MISSISSIPPI, AND TO THE TOWNS OF ISOLA AND LOUISE, MISSISSIPPI, TO PROVIDE PARK AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND ACTIVITIES TO SUCH MUNICIPALITIES, WHICH WILL BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF THE COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Humphreys County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to contribute out of the county general fund, during fiscal year 2024, to the following municipalities to provide park and recreational facilities and activities, which will benefit the residents of the county, in amounts not to exceed the following:

City of Belzoni, Mississippi..................... $ 30,000.00

Town of Isola, Mississippi...................... $ 10,000.00

Town of Louise, Mississippi...................... $ 10,000.00

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
