Senate Bill 3109

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF WARREN COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO CERTAIN NONPROFIT CORPORATIONS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. (1) The Board of Supervisors of Warren County, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute each fiscal year an amount not to exceed Six Thousand Dollars ($6,000.00), out of any available funds of the county, to WeCare Community Services, Incorporated.

(2) The Board of Supervisors of Warren County, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute each fiscal year an amount not to exceed Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00), out of any available funds of the county, to the Vicksburg Family Development Service.

(3) The Board of Supervisors of Warren County, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute each fiscal year an amount not to exceed Eighteen Thousand Dollars ($18,000.00), out of any available funds of the county, to Travelers Rest Christian Academy.

(4) The Board of Supervisors of Warren County, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute each fiscal year an amount not to exceed Eleven Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($11,250.00), out of any available funds of the county, to Triumph Ministries, Incorporated.

(5) The Board of Supervisors of Warren County, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute each fiscal year an amount not to exceed Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00), out of any available funds of the county, to Central Mississippi Prevention Services, Incorporated.

(6) The Board of Supervisors of Warren County, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute each fiscal year an amount not to exceed Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($4,500.00), out of any available funds of the county, to Women's Restoration Shelter of Mountain of Faith Ministries.

(7) The Board of Supervisors of Warren County, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute each fiscal year an amount not to exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00), out of any available funds of the county, to Good Shepherd, Incorporated.

(8) This section shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2027.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
