Senate Bill 3065

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF BOLIVAR COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE UP TO $5,000.00 ANNUALLY TO THE FANNIE LOU HAMER BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF THE COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. (1) The Board of Supervisors of Bolivar County, Mississippi, in their sole discretion, are authorized to contribute annually from the general fund of the county a sum of funds not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) to the Fannie Lou Hamer Breast Cancer Foundation.

(2) This section shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2025.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
