AN ACT TO DESIGNATE THE KEMP'S RIDLEY, THE MOST ENDANGERED SEA TURTLE IN THE WORLD, AS "THE OFFICIAL STATE SEA TURTLE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI".

SECTION 1.  The Kemp's Ridley, the most endangered sea turtle in the world, which is native to Mississippi, is hereby designated the "Official Sea Turtle of the State of Mississippi".

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2023.
