AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO

     AMEND by inserting after line 98 the following, renumbering subsequent sections:

SECTION *.  For the purposes of Section 241 of the Mississippi Constitution of 1890, the term "forgery" means a felony conviction of forgery under the laws of this state only if the amount of value involved is One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or more from a single victim.

     FURTHER, AMEND the title by inserting after the semicolon on line 10 the following:

TO DEFINE THE TERM "FORGERY";
