AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO

     AMEND by inserting the following language after line 35:  "(3)  The provisions of paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) shall not apply to a person who possesses such cards, posters or other campaign literature in support of or in opposition to any candidate, constitutional amendment, local issue or other measure printed on the ballot on his or her person while in a polling place or within one hundred fifty (150) feet of a polling place so long as the person is not posting, distributing or otherwise using the literature to attempt to persuade persons to refrain from voting or to vote for or against any candidate, constitutional amendment, local issue or other measure printed on the ballot."

AMEND further on line 36 by striking "(3)" and inserting in lieu thereof "(4)".

AMEND title to conform.
