AMENDMENT NO 7 PROPOSED TO

House Bill No.  957

     AMEND by striking lines 207 through 211 in their entirety and by inserting in lieu there of the following:

37-151-207.  Beginning with the 2019 fiscal year, the student base amount is Four Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($4,900.00) per student.  In each subsequent year, the base amount must be adjusted annually by the rate of change in the Consumer Price Index as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the United States Department of Labor; however, in no event may the student base amount be less than Four Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($4,900.00) per student.  Subject to the requirements of this section, the base amount also may be revised in subsequent years in accordance with provisions for the periodic review and revision of the funding formula pursuant to Section 37-151-223.

AMEND FURTHER on lines 217 through 219 by deleting the language "FY2019 and Subsequent Fiscal Years Per Student Allocation".

AMEND FURTHER on lines 220 and 221 by deleting the following on each line:  "$0.00"

     AMEND FURTHER on lines 222, 223 and 224 by deleting the following on each line:  "$4,800.00"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 225 by deleting the following:  "$6,240.00"

     AMEND TITLE TO CONFORM.
