AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE COMMISSION ON WILDLIFE, FISHERIES AND PARKS SHALL NOT PROHIBIT THE USE OF TROTLINES OR JUGLINES TO TAKE FISH IN THE PELAHATCHIE BAY AREA OF THE ROSS BARNETT RESERVOIR; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The commission shall not prohibit the use of trotlines or juglines to take fish in the Pelahatchie Bay area of the Ross Barnett Reservoir that is east of Northshore Parkway.
SECTION 2. Section 1 of this act shall be codified in Chapter 7, Title 49, Mississippi Code of 1972.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
