AN ACT TO INCREASE FROM TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($10,000.00) TO FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($50,000.00) THE CONTRIBUTION AMOUNT THAT THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF WAYNE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE TO THE MULTI-COUNTY COMMUNITY SERVICE AGENCY, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1.  Chapter 939, Local and Private Laws of 2017, is amended as follows:

     Section 1.  (1)  The Board of Supervisors of Wayne County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute an amount not to exceed * * * Ten Thousand Dollars ($ * * *10,000.00) Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) during any fiscal year to the Multi-County Community Service Agency, Inc., in Meridian, Mississippi, a nonprofit organization that assists low-income individuals within the county.

     (2)  This section shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2021.

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
