AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF HATTIESBURG, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE TWIN FORKS RISING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to annually appropriate, contribute and expend a sum not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) per year during calendar years 2018 and 2019, out of any available municipal funds to the Twin Forks Rising Community Development Corporation, a 501(c)(3) corporation.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
