AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO

Senate Bill No. 2857

BY: Senator(s) Carmichael

     AMEND by inserting the following after line 12 and renumbering subsequent sections accordingly:

SECTION *.  (1)  That portion of Mississippi Highway 513 situated between the City of Quitman and the City of Stonewall is designated and shall be known as the "Corporal Dustin Lee Memorial Highway."

(2)  The Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in this section.

     FURTHER AMEND line 3 of the title by inserting the following after the semicolon:

TO DESIGNATE THE PORTION OF MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 513 SITUATED BETWEEN THE CITY OF QUITMAN AND THE CITY OF STONEWALL AS THE CORPORAL DUSTIN LEE MEMORIAL HIGHWAY;
