AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO
Senate Bill No. 3016
BY: Representatives Perkins, Horan
AMEND by striking the delete marks on line 222 and renumbering the succeeding sections and by inserting the following language:
"(8) In addition to
the use of the proceeds of the tax by the commission as authorized by this act,
the commission shall annually donate no less than * * * Five
Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) to the Thompson Clemons Post 200 American
Legion for the promotion of tourism. The donation authorized in this
subsection shall not in any manner prohibit the commission from granting
additional funds to the Thompson Clemons Post 200 American Legion if the legion
submits an application to the commission for any grants."
