AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO

Cmte Sub for House Bill No. 1149

     AMEND on line 309 by inserting the following language before the word "or":  "collection fees associated with the disposal or collection of garbage, rubbish and solid waste,"

     AMEND further the title on line 6 by inserting the following  language after the semicolon:

"TO CLARIFY THAT THE BOARDS OF SUPERVISORS OF COUNTIES HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO CONTRACT WITH COLLECTION AGENCIES FOR THE COLLECTION OF FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THE DISPOSAL OR COLLECTION OF GARBAGE, RUBBISH AND SOLID WASTES;"
