AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO

House Bill No. 1106

     AMEND after the period on line 102 by inserting the following language:

"Any county having a population of less than fifty thousand (50,000) according to the latest federal decennial census shall be exempt from the provisions of this item 2 of subparagraph (i) that relate to electronic bid submission.  Any municipality having a population of less than twenty-five thousand (25,000) according to the latest federal decennial census shall be exempt from the provisions of this item 2 of subparagraph (i) that relate to electronic bid submission."

     AMEND further after the period on line 224 by inserting the following language:

"Any county having a population of less than fifty thousand (50,000) according to the latest federal decennial census shall be exempt from the provisions of this subparagraph (v) that relate to electronic bid submission.  Any municipality having a population of less than twenty-five thousand (25,000) according to the latest federal decennial census shall be exempt from the provisions of this subparagraph (v) that relate to electronic bid submission."

     AMEND further the title to conform.
