AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 930, LOCAL AND PRIVATE LAWS OF 2016, TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF FUNDS THAT THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF BOLIVAR COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, MAY CONTRIBUTE TO THE BOLIVAR COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  Chapter 930, Local and Private Laws of 2016, is amended as follows.

Section 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Bolivar County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to contribute annually during calendar years 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, out of any available funds of the county, an amount not to exceed * * *Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00) Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) to the Bolivar County Community Action Agency, Inc., for the purpose of assisting the agency with the operation of its programs that serve the public interest of the county.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
