A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND HONORING THE IMPECCABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ECONOMIC STABILITY THAT BLACK BROTHERS' BUILDING SUPPLY HAS PROVIDED TO CHOCTAW COUNTY COMMUNITY SINCE 1971.

     WHEREAS, since 1971, Black Brothers' Building Supply in Choctaw County, Mississippi, has served as an economic staple and thriving business in the community; and

     WHEREAS, the late owners/brothers, Bobby and Leonard Black, sold construction supply materials, gardening tools, home improvement supplies, and anything one might want for a do-it-yourself project or a simple remodel; and

     WHEREAS, Black Brothers' Building Supply has always been supportive of the schools in the Choctaw County community, donating hardware for school projects or building supplies to help improve the athletic facilities; and

     WHEREAS, after Leonard passed away, his son, Jerry continued to work with Bobby and Ruth at the store, and once Bobby passed away, Ruth and Jerry continued the day-to-day operations of the business and consistently provide the friendly customer service, competent advice and quality products that consumers have always received from the company; and

     WHEREAS, it is the policy of the House of Representatives to recognize and commend fine institutions in Mississippi that have left a profound impact on her citizens by offering them excellent merchandise and true southern hospitality, serving a vital role in the present and future of this great Magnolia State:

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby recognize and honor the impeccable customer service and economic stability that Black Brothers' Building Supply has provided to the Choctaw County community since 1971 and express best wishes for continued success and growth in the future.

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to the owners of Black Brothers' Building Supply and to the members of the Capitol Press Corps.
