AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF GRENADA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRACT FOR THE HOUSING OF INMATES WITH ANY OTHER COUNTY OR PRIVATE JAIL FACILITY THAT IS LOCATED WITHIN THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Grenada County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contract with any other county or private jail facility that is located in this state for the housing of county inmates or to contract to receive inmates from any other county or private jail facility located in this state on terms that are acceptable to Grenada County.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
