AN ACT TO REQUIRE THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO FURNISH A LICENSE EXAMINER WITHIN THE CITY OF CANTON, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Department of Public Safety shall furnish a permanent license examiner at a location within the municipal limits of Canton, Mississippi, to conduct licensing examinations, road tests and renewals. The city shall furnish the office, heating and cooling, and phone and Internet service at the location for the license examiner.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2017.
