AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF BENTON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRACT WITH AND/OR CONTRIBUTE TO THE INSTITUTE OF COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC. (ICS), ALSO KNOWN AS HEAD START; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Benton County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contract with and/or contribute an amount of not more than Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) out of any available funds of the county to the Institute of Community Services, Inc. (ICS), also known as Head Start, operating various programs in and for the county.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
