AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO STEVEN C. GUNN OF HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Steven C. Gunn of Harrison County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his conviction of aggravated assault in 2005 in Harrison County, Mississippi, and was sentenced to twenty (20) years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections with twenty (20) years suspended and five (5) years probation. He completed probation and was discharged on June 29, 2010. The Legislature has been reliably informed that he is now conducting himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
