AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO LEASE THE FORMER STATE CRIME LAB TO THE HINDS COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Department of Public Safety is authorized to lease the building formerly designated as the State Crime Lab to the Hinds County Board of Supervisors for use by the Hinds County Medical Examiner. The building is located in Jackson, Mississippi, and the property upon which it is located shall be more particularly described in the lease agreement.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
