AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HUMPHREYS COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO EXPEND FUNDS DURING FISCAL YEAR 2016 AND FISCAL YEAR 2017 TO SUPPORT LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL ACTIVITIES IN HUMPHREYS COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Humphreys County, Mississippi, is authorized, in its discretion, to expend funds during fiscal year 2016 and fiscal year 2017 in an amount not to exceed Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) per fiscal year to support Little League Baseball activities in the county by purchasing equipment and supplies for such activities.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
