AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF SUNFLOWER COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE FANNIE LOU HAMER CANCER FOUNDATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. (1) The Board of Supervisors of Sunflower County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute an amount not to exceed Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) annually, out of any available funds of the county, to the Fannie Lou Hamer Cancer Foundation, a 501(c)(3) corporation, which operates a center for providing education regarding the prevention and protection from cancer.
(2) This section shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2020.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
