AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TALLAHATCHIE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO ASSIST THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF CHARLESTON, MISSISSIPPI, IN THE ACQUISITION, BUILDING, CONSTRUCTION AND EQUIPPING OF A RECREATIONAL FACILITY OR RECREATIONAL FACILITIES WITHIN THE CITY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Tallahatchie County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to assist the commissioners of the City of Charleston, Mississippi, in the acquisition, building, construction and equipping of a recreational facility or recreational facilities within the city, and such facility or facilities shall be available for the use of county residents.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
