AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY OF WAVELAND, MISSISSIPPI, TO HOLD MUNICIPAL COURT AT A LOCATION OUTSIDE THE MUNICIPALITY IN A PUBLIC BUILDING WITHIN A TWENTY-MILE RADIUS OF THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY DETERMINE THAT THE CITY HAS OBTAINED MORE APPROPRIATE SPACE WITHIN THE CITY FOR ITS MUNICIPAL COURT TO CONDUCT BUSINESS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The City of Waveland, Mississippi, is authorized, in the discretion of its governing authorities, to hold municipal court at a location outside the municipality in a public building within a twenty-mile radius of the boundaries of the city until such time as the governing authorities of the city determine that the city has obtained more appropriate space within the city for its municipal court to conduct business.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
