AN ACT TO DESIGNATE U.S. HIGHWAY 45 WITHIN CORPORATE LIMITS OF WEST POINT, MISSISSIPPI, AS THE "SENATOR BENNIE L. TURNER MEMORIAL HIGHWAY"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1.  (1)  That segment of U.S. Highway 45 within corporate limits of West Point, Mississippi, is designated and shall be known as the "Senator Bennie L. Turner Memorial Highway."

     (2)  The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the highway.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2013.
