AN ACT TO DESIGNATE THE MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 15 OVERPASS BRIDGE AT THE INTERSECTION OF MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 8 WITHIN THE CITY OF HOUSTON, MISSISSIPPI, AS THE "WILLIAM E. 'BILLY' BOWLES MEMORIAL BRIDGE"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1.  (1)  The Mississippi Highway 15 overpass bridge at the intersection of Mississippi Highway 8 within the City of Houston, Mississippi, is designated and shall be known as the "William E. 'Billy' Bowles Memorial Bridge."

     (2)  The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the highway.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2013.
