AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARSHALL COUNTY TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS ANNUALLY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING SUPPORT TO NEW HOPE VILLAGE, A SHELTER FOR THE HOMELESS OF MARSHALL COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The Board of Supervisors of Marshall County, in its discretion, may contribute an amount not to exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) annually, from any available funds of the county, for the purpose of providing support to New Hope Village in its efforts to provide a shelter for the benefit of displaced or homeless individuals in the county.

     (2)  This section shall stand repealed from and after July 1, 2016.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
