AN ACT TO DESIGNATE A CERTAIN PORTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY 11 IN LAMAR COUNTY AS THE "TYLER KILSBY AND LEON SIMS MEMORIAL HIGHWAY"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. That segment of U.S. Highway 11 in Lamar County beginning at its intersection with Mississippi Highway 13 near Lumberton and extending to the intersection of U.S. Highway 11 and Mississippi 589 near Purvis is designated as and shall be known as the "Tyler Kilsby and Leon Sims Memorial Highway."

(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching that segment of U.S. Highway 11.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2012.
