AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION OF STATE GENERAL FUNDS TO THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPLEMENTING A PREVENTION OF TEEN PREGNANCY PILOT PROGRAM, PURSUANT TO SECTION 41-79-55, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, FOR THE THREE SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN SUNFLOWER COUNTY FOR FISCAL YEAR 2013; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the General Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Mississippi Department of Health, for the purpose of implementing the Prevention of Teen Pregnancy Pilot Program, pursuant to Section 41-79-55, Mississippi Code of 1972, in conjunction with the State Department of Education, for the three (3) school districts in Sunflower County, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012, and ending June 30, 2013.............................................. $ 225,000.00.
SECTION 2. The money herein appropriated shall be paid by the State Treasurer out of any money in the proper fund or funds as set fourth in this act, upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, officer or officers in the manner provided by law.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2012.
