AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO GRANT A PERPETUAL EASEMENT TO A.J. WARREN ON CERTAIN STATE-OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED IN ISSAQUENA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, AND BEING A PART OF THE HOWARD MILLER WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Department of Finance and Administration is authorized to grant A.J. Warren a perpetual easement to be used as an ingress/egress on certain state-owned property located in Issaquena County, Mississippi, and being a part of the Howard Miller Wildlife Management Area.  The benefit of this easement shall inure solely to the grantee and shall be revoked if and when the grantee sells or otherwise conveys its interest in the property.  The granting of this easement shall at no time limit the State of Mississippi from any future use of its property for any purpose that is determined to be in the best interest of the state.  The property is more particularly described as follows:

     A 20' perpetual easement being 10 feet either side of

     the following described line:

     POINT OF BEGINNING:  At the point of intersection of

     the West right-of-way of Grant Road (a public road)

     with the centerline of an existing turnrow road having

     a latitude 32 degrees 50 minutes 3.65 seconds North and

     a longitude 90 degrees 58 minutes 52.14 seconds West;

     run thence

     Westerly along the center of said turnrow road for a

     distance of 7,960 feet, more or less, to a point, said

     point having a latitude 32 degrees 50 minutes 14.22

     seconds North and a longitude of 91 degrees 00 minutes

     25.23 seconds West; run thence

     North to the South line of the Arthur J. Warren, III

     property in Section 36, T12N-R8W, Issaquena County,

     Mississippi and the terminus of said easement.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
