AN ACT TO EXEMPT FROM AD VALOREM TAXATION MILITARY HOUSING UNITS AND ANCILLARY SUPPORTING FACILITIES FOR THE UNITS THAT ARE ACQUIRED OR CONSTRUCTED PURSUANT TO THE MILITARY HOUSING PRIVATIZATION INITIATIVE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. Military housing units and ancillary supporting facilities for the units that are acquired or constructed pursuant to the Military Housing Privatization Initiative (10 USC 2871 et seq.), shall be exempt from ad valorem taxation.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
