AN ACT TO DESIGNATE A CERTAIN SEGMENT OF MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 531 WITHIN SMITH COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, AS THE "MARK HASKIN EATON MEMORIAL HIGHWAY"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. (1) That segment of Mississippi Highway 531 within Smith County, Mississippi, beginning at its intersection with Mississippi 28 and extending to the Smith/Jasper county line shall be known and designated as the "Mark Haskin Eaton Memorial Highway."
(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the highway.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2011.
