AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI, TO ALLOW COUNCILMEN TO MAINTAIN INDIVIDUAL OFFICES WITHIN THE CITY HALL; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Jackson, Mississippi, in their discretion, may authorize that councilmen maintain individual offices within the City Hall regardless of whether the population of the city is less than one hundred ninety thousand (190,000).
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
