AN ACT MAKING AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OF SPECIAL FUNDS TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES OF THE DISTRICT ATTORNEYS AND ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEYS; THE MISSISSIPPI STATE BOARD OF CHIROPRACTIC EXAMINERS; THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION; THE MISSISSIPPI FAIR COMMISSION - DIXIE NATIONAL LIVESTOCK SHOW; AND THE PAT HARRISON WATERWAY DISTRICT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2010; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. In addition to all other sums heretofore appropriated, the following sum or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the State Treasury to the credit of district attorneys, assistant district attorneys and criminal investigators for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.................................... $ 772,821.00.

Of the funds appropriated in this section, the following sources of funds are provided:

SECTION 2. In addition to all other sums heretofore appropriated, the following sum or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the State Treasury to the credit of the Mississippi State Board of Chiropractic Examiners for the purpose of defraying contractual expenses of the Attorney General's office for fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.................................... $ 2,847.00.

SECTION 3. In addition to all other sums heretofore appropriated, the following sum or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the State Treasury to the credit of the Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration for the purpose of defraying Salaries, Wages and Fringe Benefits expenses for fiscal year ending June 30, 2010..............................................$ 576,439.00.

SECTION 4. In addition to all other sums heretofore appropriated, the following sum or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the State Treasury to the credit of the Mississippi Fair Commission for the purpose of defraying the expenses of the Dixie National Livestock Show for fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.........$ 77,526.00.

SECTION 5. In addition to all other sums heretofore appropriated, the following sum or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the State Treasury to the credit of the Pat Harrison Waterway District for the purpose of defraying the expenses of repairing a fire damaged cabin for fiscal year ending June 30, 2010........$ 50,000.00.

SECTION 6. The money herein appropriated shall be paid by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State Treasury to the credit of the proper fund or funds as set forth in this act, upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, officer or officers, in the manner provided by law.

SECTION 7. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after passage and through June 30, 2010.
