AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE A PRENEED CONTRACT FUNDED BY INSURANCE TO BE DELIVERED OR ISSUED FOR DELIVERY IN AMOUNTS UP TO $15,000; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. A licensed insurer or licensed producer preneed contract, as defined in Section 75-63-53(l), funded by insurance, may deliver or issue for delivery to any person in this state an amount up to Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00).
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2010.
