AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO

Senate Bill No. 2774

     Amend by inserting the following section after line 10 and renumber succeeding sections accordingly:

     SECTION *.  (1)  That segment of Mississippi Highway 35 beginning at the corporate limits of Charleston in Tallahatchie County and extending northerly to the Tallahatchie/Panola County line shall be designated and known as the "Birdia Keglar Memorial Highway."

     (2)  The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.

     FURTHER, AMEND the title after the semicolon on line 2 insert:

TO DESIGNATE A CERTAIN SEGMENT OF MS HIGHWAY 35 IN TALLAHATCHIE COUNTY AS THE "BIRDIA KEGLAR MEMORIAL HIGHWAY";
