House Amendments to Senate Bill No. 3178

 

TO THE SECRETARY OF THE SENATE:

 

  THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE HOUSE HAS ADOPTED THE AMENDMENTS SET OUT BELOW:

 

 

AMENDMENT NO. 1

 

     Amend by striking all after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

 

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Tunica County, Mississippi, may contribute, in its discretion, from any available county funds, an amount not to exceed Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) to the Aaron E. Henry Community Health Clinic and an amount not to exceed Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) to the G.A. Stover Health Clinic, P.A., for the purpose of improving and enhancing medical care in and for the residents of Tunica County, Mississippi.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after June 1, 2007, and shall be repealed on December 31, 2011.

     Further, amend by striking the title in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

 

     AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TUNICA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE AARON E. HENRY COMMUNITY HEALTH CLINIC AND THE G.A. STOVER HEALTH CLINIC, P.A., FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING THE MEDICAL CARE FOR THE RESIDENTS OF TUNICA COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
