Senate Concurrent Resolution 572

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION URGING THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF STATE INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER LEARNING TO NAME THE GRADUATE BUSINESS PROGRAMS BUILDING ON THE NATCHEZ CAMPUS OF ALCORN STATE UNIVERSITY THE "WILLIAMS, WATERS AND WELLS GRADUATE BUSINESS PROGRAMS BUILDING."

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING THEREIN, That we do hereby urge the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning to name the Graduate Business Programs Building on the Natchez campus of Alcorn State University the "Williams, Waters and Wells Graduate Business Programs Building" in honor of Dr. Malvin Williams, Sr., Dr. Rudolph Waters and Dr. Steve Wells.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Alcorn State University is urged to prepare a distinctive plaque to be placed in a prominent place within the facility, which states the background, accomplishments and service to the university by Dr. Malvin Williams, Sr., Dr. Rudolph Waters and Dr. Steve Wells.
