AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO ANNUALLY DONATE FUNDS TO SOUP KITCHENS IN JACKSON COUNTY THAT PROVIDE MEALS TO THE NEEDY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Jackson County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to annually donate from any available funds, to soup kitchens in Jackson County that provide meals to the needy, an amount not to exceed Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) each.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
