AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF DESOTO COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE INSTITUTE FOR COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC., FOR THE FUNDING OF THE PURCHASE OF A BUS FOR ITS HEAD START PROGRAM; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of DeSoto County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may make a onetime contribution of funds in an amount not to exceed Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00), to the Institute for Community Services, Inc., for the sole purpose of funding the purchase of a bus for its Head Start Program.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
