AN ACT TO PROVIDE A STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS ON CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATIONS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. All actions founded in whole or part on civil rights violations shall be brought within sixty (60) years after the date of the violation.
SECTION 2. Section 1 of this act shall be codified in Chapter 1 of Title 15, Mississippi Code of 1972.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
