AN ACT TO DESIGNATE AND INCLUDE IN THE STATE SCENIC STREAMS STEWARDSHIP PROGRAM THE TOMBIGBEE RIVER (EAST FORK) IN ITAWAMBA COUNTY, WHICH HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY DESIGNATED FOR NOMINATION TO SUCH PROGRAM; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. In accordance with Section 51-4-7, the Tombigbee River from the Prentiss County line to the Monroe County line, which was designated as eligible for nomination to the State Scenic Streams Stewardship Program under Section 51-4-23.7, is designated as a state scenic stream and is included in the State Scenic Streams Stewardship Program.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
