AN ACT TO REQUIRE CERTAIN ROADS, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CONSTRUCTED, RECONSTRUCTED OR RESURFACED AFTER JULY 1, 2007, TO HAVE LUMINOUS REFLECTORS FIXED, ATTACHED OR EMBEDDED ALONG THE CENTERLINES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. Every road, street and highway lying outside the boundaries of any incorporated municipality in this state that after June 30, 2007, is constructed, reconstructed or resurfaced by or pursuant to any contract let by the Mississippi Transportation Commission must have luminous reflectors fixed, attached or embedded along the centerline.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2007.
