AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE AND EMPOWER THE LAFAYETTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, IN ITS DISCRETION, TO PURCHASE AND MAINTAIN A BUS FOR THE HEAD START PROGRAM IN SUCH COUNTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Lafayette County, in its discretion, is hereby authorized and empowered to purchase and maintain, from any available funds of the county, a bus for the transportation of children in the Head Start program of Lafayette County.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
